We met Joanna from Huqui Planners when her project was in the growth phase. She needed our help with two important aspects of her brand:
- Branding
- Custom web development
Branding
For her branding, she asked us to work with pastel colors based on the colors of the digital planners she sold, and for the logo, the idea was to design it based on the diagrams of these same ones. This was the final result:
Web development
Joanna's idea for her website was that it could accept cash payments, as well as debit and credit cards and QR codes. As her project was for all Spanish-speaking countries, this was a big challenge and was, at the same time, the reason why other web development teams had said no to her.
At Mateuss we decided to take on the challenge, explaining in detail how international payment gateways worked and what difficulties existed due to the limitations of these services. Joanna understood this and we managed to create a website that was as close to what she needed.
Initially, the website received payments in dollars and soles, payment options that were left up to its customers to decide which to choose. This meant that specific payment methods were enabled for soles and different ones for dollars.
After some time, as the project continued to grow, Joanna asked us for two new things for her website, which we had to custom program:
- A customized revenue reporting system.
- A system that uses the geographic location of visitors to show them the price on the website in dollars or soles, with a reference to how much it would cost in their local currency if the price were shown to them in dollars (that is, if you visit the website from Argentina, the website shows you the price in dollars and gives you a reference to how much it will cost you in pesos).
The web currently looks like this (You can view the live web by visiting www.huquiplanners.com):
